Graduate Assistantships in Music Therapy

Duties: Provide on-site supervision of undergraduate and equivalency music therapy students in their pre-internship clinical training.

Stipend: Stipends for nine-month contracts are $7,000.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or Equivalency in music therapy, MT-BC, admission to the Cratis Williams Graduate School and minimum one year full time clinical music therapy experience beyond internship. To be considered for assistantship the candidate must have an interview, either by phone or in person.

Degrees: Master of Music Therapy with Specialty Areas in Addictions, Expressive Arts, Gerontology, Health Care, Mental Health, Special Education, and General. The General Specialty Area is for students who, in consultation with their advisor, design their own specialty area.

In addition to the Master of Music Therapy degree, the Hayes School of Music offers the Bachelor of Music degree in music education, music therapy, performance, theory/composition, and sacred music; the Bachelor of Science degree in music industry studies; and the Master of Music degree in performance and music education.
