It is required that all students desiring to pursue a degree in music audition before members of the appropriate applied music faculty for acceptance into the music program.

Outstanding students majoring in music will be selected to receive music scholarships based on performance ability, the programmatic needs of the Hayes School of Music, and official admittance to the University.
