Revised February, 1999
FACULTY MERIT DOCUMENT
Department of Anthropology
NOTE: The Chair is advised that reassigned time for administration and/or
research provides a faculty member with additional time to increase various professional outputs. In addition, released time due to OCSAs, fellowships or grants significantly affects a faculty member=s level of professional activity during the period of the release. The Chair will also consider the fact that professional output often results from released time from previous academic years. The Chair will take these factors into account when assigning points for specific professional activities.
Where applicable, point ranges should be applied per item within each category. For many categories, criteria for evaluation of the specific category are listed.
