| ASU Anthropological Society
The purpose of the Appalachian State University Anthropological Society (A.S.U.A.S.) is to promote the interests of Anthropology majors and minors within the department. As a student group we are open to lecturers, and information concerning all four fields of Anthropology. We are also involved with the Sustainable Development, Archaeology, and Cultural Anthropology programs that are offered in our department. In addition the faculty provide our students with information concerning internships, recent field work, and graduate school information. Our current advisor, whom we would like to thank, is Dr. Cheryl Claassen (claassencp@appstate.edu.
